Sunny Bank Mills is an inspirational commercial and cultural destination in the heart of the local community of Farsley, Leeds. Founded in 1829, these glorious Mills are being regenerated by the sixth generation of the family owners, creating a wonderful blend of work, leisure and culture.
Sunny Bank Mills offer beautifully restored creative business spaces for both small and large organisations. Sunny Bank Mills Gallery is the epicentre of our arts programme, spanning exhibitions, workshops, studio spaces and events, and the Sunny Bank Mills Museum & Archive protects and promotes the history of the Mills and the community.

Are you studying a creative subject in Yorkshire, or are you from Yorkshire and studying a creative subject elsewhere? Apply now for Ones to Watch 2026. FREE TO APPLY.
We are looking for artists, makers, designers and creatives working in all media: painting, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics, film, sound, text, glass, metal, performance, wood, furniture, and more, to be part of our annual emerging artist showcase exhibition.
For the past 12 years, Ones to Watch has supported more than 420 emerging artists based in or from Yorkshire in all creative disciplines, giving them the opportunity to exhibit in a gallery setting in a professionally curated exhibition.
Exhibitors are selected by a panel of judges. Studio residencies and prizes are awarded by both judges and exhibition visitors.
EXHIBITION DATES:
10th January – 29th March 2026
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
Midnight on Friday 14th November. Applications are accepted through Curatorspace only.
