Sherry Doyal
Sherry Doyal is a maker, a conservator and a teacher.
Sherry makes botanic material vessels and art objects which are informed by her expertise as a conservator working with both natural science and history collections.
Sherry teaches making and conservation to fellow professionals, students and the public.
I work with botanic materials such as willow, barks, leaves and dried flowers. The feeling of wabi-sabi. Visibly vulnerable materials. I like the fragile, desiccated and the soft torn edge in chromatic greys and neutrals.
