Do you have a piece of fabric or clothing that has huge sentimental value to you? Maybe it reminds you of a special person, a place, or a particular of your life?

Leeds 2023 Farsley & Calverley ward host Alaina has started the Spinning Tales project to collect these stories and turn digital images of your garments into a colourful community mural.

To get involved, bring your precious pieces of cloth along to the 3rd floor of the 1912 Mill on Saturday & Sunday of Threads to be photographed and added to the collection!

See work from artists Monika Loster, David Fox and Becky Cherriman & Becky Moore.

The 3rd floor of the 1912 Mill is accessed by three flights of stairs or a wheelchair accessible lift. We will have attendants on hand to offer assistance. If you have any queries, please email [email protected].
