LOOPS
Explore our new collaborative textile exhibition Loops, created by Netherlands based artists Gea van Eck, Monika Loster, Hanneke van Broekhoven, and Yorkshire based artists Andi Walker, Hannah Robson & Jane Claire Wilson.
At the heart of the exhibition is a large-scale collaborative artwork by these 6 talented artists centred around the theme of cycles, circles and continuums. Many months in the making and many miles apart, this is a truly unique celebration of international collaboration.

TAILORED
Join us in the Museum & Archive for the opportunity to view an exhibition devoted to the art of tailoring.
As part of the exhibition, fashion students from York University have looked at various aspects of British tailoring to create a vibrant display.
You will have the chance to read thoughts on modern tailoring from Elizabeth Pennington of bespoke Harrogate based tailor Eliza Wyke, alongside a display from the Museum & Archive’s own unique collection relating to men’s tailoring.
The exhibition also contains tailored garments from social and textile historian and author Lucy Adlington’s collection spanning over 100 years of women’s fashions, including a pink Zandra Rhodes felted coat.
