Join artist Kim Coley for a 4 week course exploring the exciting language of drawing and develop your observational skills!
A 4-week course exploring the exciting language of drawing and develop observational skills alongside experimental and expressive approaches.
Exercises will focus upon different forms of mark making, for example, one line drawing, drawing with tone, effective use of negative space and directional mark making, to name but a few!
All levels of experience welcome.
The course will take place at 14:00-16:30 for 4 Wednesdays starting on 16th March.
We will provide
Refreshments (drinks and cake!), all materials and equipment.
About your tutor
Kim Coley is an artist based near Harrogate. She works in acrylic, household paint, ink, charcoal, pastel, collage, mixed media and print. She uses “visual song writing” as an analogy for her creative process and is interested in the tensions between observation, and expression.
Course terms and booking conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.
If we need to cancel the course for any reason your ticket will be fully refunded.
