During this fascinating talk – hosted by curator, writer and speaker, Nima Poovaya-Smith – we will delve into Jim Gaffney’s 40 years experience of collecting, researching and dealing in hand made textiles from all across Asia.

Throughout the talk, we’ll hear all about Jim’s collection and experiences, as he welcomes us to handle and marvel at the wonderful cloths that tell the stories not only of the supremely skilled individual artisans who made them, but also their culture and traditions.

This talk is suitable for ages 14+.
