While searching in the Archive we found these Guard Books from the 1960’s.  The designs are bold and brash and the layout is very different to the other Guard Books discovered to date.  Although the Guard Books do not have the grandeur of the older books with hard back leather covers and detailed layout the 1960’s book of card and paper still holds its own on closer inspection in design and flare in the finest worsted suit cloth designs that were popular at the time.
