Thank you so much for all those who joined us over Heritage Open Days 2017. Over 1,500 of you came to the Archive over the course of the 3 days, a new record! A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers who worked so hard over the weekend, we couldn’t have done it without you. A big thank you also to Agnis for all her hard work and successfully breathing new life into our handloom. Really exciting to see it working again.
And finally thank you so much to June our retired Mender at Sunny Bank Mills who gave up her weekend to share what it really was like to work in the Mill. It was fantastic to hear all her stories, bringing the collection to life.
