Heritage Open Days with a twist - 360 degree virtual tour of Sunny Bank Mills Archive

September 9th, 2020

Sadly due to the restrictions from the government guidelines.   The Archive will not be open during the Heritage Open Days this year.

Instead we have commissioned a very exciting 360-degree film experience to explore the Archive with added focused imagery and audio.  This film will be accessible to all through the Heritage pages of our website.  A great resource for teachers and pupils, families.  In fact anyone interested in finding out more about our textile heritage and collection.

This is a fantastic opportunity to navigate the Archive before arranging a visit to us because; if were honest, nothing beats being up close to the collection and the unique space of Sunny Bank Mills Archive.

The Archive is open for booked appointments only.   Every Monday, so please book here and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Special thanks to Historic England for their support and funding on this project.
