Install week and Lockdown
When we installed Ones to Watch in March, we had no idea the scale of the lockdown measures that would ensue! We closed the doors on Friday 20th, just before we went into lockdown. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our opening event and then close the gallery for the foreseeable. To keep the exhibition as visible as possible, we have been sharing images of the exhibition, information about the artists, and artist interviews online throughout the duration.
We hope to be able to extend and re-open the exhibition to the public when it is safe to do so. If the government guidance permits!
University of Leeds Students and Graduates
Ones to Watch artists Catherine Morgan, Erin Shields, Olivia Tess Russell, Poppy Jones-Little, Sarah Larby and D’Arcy Darilmaz, (our previous Ones to Watch residency artist) have contributed to a great article on the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies website.
You can read it here. Thanks to FAHACS for your continuing support!
