Paradise Street has been long forgotten in Farsley. The street was absorbed by the development of the Combing Department over a century ago along with Paradise Place. However the recently refurbished of Sunny Bank House which lies at the top of the long forgotten street was in need of a separate postal address from the mill. Old plans revealed the original name of the back street as Paradise Street.

Before Edwin Woodhouse bought the land and rebuilt in it, Paradise Street had some cottages, and a warehouse owned by a member of the Hainsworth family.
