Leeds Architecture awards, has been celebrating excellence in places and spaces since 1987.  The awards aim to promote a sense of pride in the new developments that are reshaping the city of Leeds and making a major contribution to its future development and prosperity. They recognise and reward innovation, sustainability and the team work that is at the heart of successful development and regeneration. We are delighted to have been shortlisted in 2019 in the Regeneration category! This is particularly satisfying because, unlike other awards that need companies to nominate themselves, we were actually nominated by someone on the Leeds Planning Office. This is surely a testament to the hard work of our Architect, Kilmartin Plowman & Partners and to the successful regeneration that we have delivered over the last 10 years. On 13th September, we showed round a surprisingly large and high profile judging panel including Hiro Aso of Gensler, the man responsible for the award winning modernisation of Kings Cross Station. They loved the vision we have for a sustainable, vibrant mix uses that informs our regeneration. So much so that we made them late for their next appointment! Your vote may be the deciding vote so please fill in a voting form when you are in the Gallery. We will be showing a display of all the shortlisted projects between the 23rd November and 4th December and will have voting forms nearby. We find out if we won on 28th February 2019 at a glittering awards ceremony at Leeds Town Hall and are up against pretty stiff competition, including the high profile Kirkstall Forge.
