On Tuesday 27th November 3-7pm, we will be hosting an event to launch our plans for the future development of Sunny Bank Mills. John and William Gaunt, the site architects, site property agents and hopefully Ward Councillors will be on hand to discuss our plans for the site. Following on from the openday, the display will remain in place for anyone to drop in and view for two weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for the public to view our plans to restore the mills and bring them back into the heart of the community. This is principally as a place of employment but also with elements of leisure, retail and residential uses. We will also look forward to sharing the ideas, comments and concerns of the public too. The Vison for the Future has taken shape over the last two years or so. It encapsulates our aspirations for Sunny Bank Mills and it has been drawn up with the input from our professional team in conjunction with discussions with Leeds City Planning Department and local Ward members. With this exhibition, we aim to share a Vision of the potential at Sunny Bank Mills – a Vision that we feel is an excitng blend of aspiration and ambition but that is in keeping with Farsley.
