Join us over the Summer Holidays every Thursday Morning for Summer School – Suitable for children aged 6-11 years old!
Summer School is perfect for children who love making and creating. Each day we will be doing a different mix of creative, engaging, and playful arts and crafts – including textile collage, ceramic sculpting, drawing, creative writing, and more! There will also be some movement and dance activities.
Every session will have a different mix of activities inspired by the works in the Gallery exhibition ‘Don’t Play with your Food’, and be led by a mix of experienced freelance practitioners and our Gallery team. Each day the children will respond creatively to a piece of work by a particular artist in the exhibition.
The aim of Summer School is to make this summer’s creative, playful and fun activities accessible for young people. Allowing children to make new friends, develop new skills and experience an arts environment in their local area. We want to integrate the creativity and voices of the younger generation in the heart of the mill. Have them involved and become part of the shaping of its future.
