We hold between six and eight exhibitions a year and most of the work is for sale through the Gallery. You can also buy original craft and contemporary design.
At any one time we have original work from over 50 artists and makers and contacts with many more.
Our small and friendly gallery team are here to guide you through the process and help you start your own collection
Own Art
We are delighted to offer the Own Art Scheme to help you start your own collection.
The scheme allows you to apply for an interest free loan of between £100 and £2,500 for the purchase of original works of art or craft in any media. No deposit is required, and the loan is repayable over 10 months. Once approved for a loan you can take the work home. Own Art’s finance provider is Novuna Personal Finance.
Supported by Arts Council England, Creative Scotland and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Own Art makes it easier and more affordable for people to buy art regardless of income and background, supports contemporary artists and makers and promotes the creative economy through a network of over 280 galleries.

Deposits
If you would like to secure a piece of work that is in an exhibition you can place a deposit on it of 10% and we will mark it as sold. You can pay the balance of it on collection at the end of the exhibition.
If you decide not to proceed with the purchase, then you must inform us within 7 days of payment of the deposit so that the artist and we have the opportunity to sell the work elsewhere and we will refund the deposit.
If you do not tell us within this time period and decide not to go ahead then you will forfeit your deposit. Exceptions to this rule are at the discretion of the Gallery.
Our Refund Policy
We accept that sometimes you will take a piece of art home and discover that, for whatever reason, it doesn’t fit. If that happens, you can return it within seven days, and we will give you a full refund; provided that it is in its original condition and you have your receipt.
If any art work is returned outside this period, then a refund will only be made at the discretion of the gallery team in exceptional circumstances.
Art work and gallery shop purchases can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase provided we have not paid the artist or maker and a credit note issued.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund or exchange pierced earrings.
In the unlikely event that you make a shop purchase and the product is damaged or does not work (e.g. a lamp) then we will exchange or refund where we are satisfied that the damage happened before purchase. Exchanges and refunds in these circumstances are at the discretion of the gallery team.
