Brisbane Taylor uses traditional materials such as paint and graphite in unconventional ways, embracing the tension between the controlled and the uncontrolled mark. She first exhibited in Departure, the Possibilities of Chance in 2014, with a 10-metre piece of work in the old Finishing Room. She has since become a studio holder and exhibited in Clocking Off 2018 and Slip in 2019.
