David Questa first exhibited at Sunny Bank Mills as part of Departure in 2014. He exhibited a series of paintings and drawings of areas of Leeds and the rural Yorkshire Landscape that were part of the route of 2014’s Tour de France. Each piece contained a hint of yellow as a nod to the race. His paintings of Yorkshire landscapes are full of texture and detail, but appear almost photographic from a distance.
