Rosie Vohra

Rosie Vohra is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Leeds at Assembly House studios. Her practice emerges from a focus on drawing and collage but is inherently bound in different types of making, from sculpting and whittling to sewing and painting. Vohra’s work celebrates the transient nature of found imagery, cutting, tearing and sticking associations from the fleeting world around us. Rosie studied at The Royal Drawing School in 2014 [where she was awarded the Sir Denis Mahon Award] after completing a Fine Art degree at Leeds Arts University. Rosie was included in the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2015, has exhibited widely and is a founder member of art collective ‘PRECIOUS, Leeds’.
