Christmas Dove Workshop with Oliver Fawcett

Oliver has a talent for building bold and cheeky strong forms that grab your attention immediately. He is a good draughtsman with a keen eye for pattern and detail resulting in beautiful prints, mosaics and papier mache sculptures. His series of mythical beasts sculptures are on exhibition at the Hart Club in London from November.
Using recycled materials card, paper and paste Oliver will show you how to make a Christmas dove. Your dove will not have to look traditional in finish, Oliver will happily suggest otherwise using his papier mache experience to encourage you to build a bold and bright bird to add to your Christmas decorations.
All materials provided. You may want to wear an old shirt or apron to protect your clothes. Adults and children supervised 8 and over welcome.
Places are limited (6-8) so book now to avoid disappointment.
£10 per person. All proceeds from this workshop will go to Henshaws to support their work at their Knaresborough Arts and Crafts Centre. Additional donations on the day are welcome.
