El Riordan – Screen Printing With Stencils Workshop

Join Printmaker El Riordan in the Spinning Mill Studios for a half day screen printing workshop! 10am-3pm on 29th July 2022.
For this workshop, you will be based within the print room and experimenting with stencils to create screen printed fabric art pieces. You will be introduced to the screen printing process and be able to have a go at designing and making your own print using multiple layers and colours.
Using scissors and craft knives, you will create a paper stencil in your own design and screen print onto fabric. You will be shown how to set up a fabric print bed and how to professionally moount your work at the end of the session.
Hair dryers and an iron will be provided so that the print can be dried and cured quickly, ready for you to take home.
