Collections

Collections; a collaborative project started in 2015 by mixed media artist Josie Beszant, printmaker Hester Cox and ceramicist Charlotte Morrison.
The project looks at collections; what, how and why we and other people collect things. What is then done with the collected objects and how they are displayed and how meaning is carried with the collection. They are working as individual artists and collaboratively, sharing thoughts, objects and themes.
The first exhibition of work made as a result of the project was at Masham Gallery, North Yorkshire in 2016.
The second exhibition was at Ryedale Museum in 2017.
In 2018 from 21st April -17th June the exhibition will travel to Sunny Bank Mills.
Josie Beszant, Hester Cox and Charlotte Morrison will be joined at this show by: Jennie McCall, Kate Bowles, Sue Brown, Ann Povey, Joanna Wakefield and Jane Bevan.
