Hand-painted Wooden Posy Workshop

Join illustrator Lucy of Squirrelbandit to create your oen hand painted posy.

During this workshop you will experiment with hand-painting paper cut flowers, to develop on a colour palette and Lucy will guide you through designing patterns that you could use within your painting. You can practice your painting skills and ideas on a selection of paper cut flowers that can then be used later to create handmade greeting cards.

You will then move on to painting the laser cut wooden flowers themselves, together with a small wooden bouquet pin badge. These wooden keepsakes are really lovely when displayed in a bud vase or could be give as a gift.

All materials are included and the wood used is FSC approved birch plywood.

About your Tutor

Lucy from Squirrelbandit is a designer and maker based in Leeds. She has worked in the greeting card industry for many years, and now creates joyous keepsake items throught greetings and gifts as Squirrelbandit.

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.
