Make your own Foraged Bird Pouch/Feeder Workshop

Spend an October afternoon in the Sunny Bank Mills woodland and Spinning Mill Studios with artist Oonagh Corr!
You’ll learn basic basketry techniques using natural foraged material to create a simple woven bird pouch/feeder.
We’ll begin the workshop in a wooded area in the grounds of Sunny Bank Mills, learning how to harvest and prepare bramble before using it to weave our own bird pouch – designed to encourage small hedgerow birds to nest/roost in or feed from in winter. Materials, tools and refreshments provided.
Suitable for beginners, places limited to ensure individual attention.
