October Half Term: Family Drawing Workshops

£5.00Accompanying the Lullabies in Lockdown exhibition, and part of the Big Draw Festival ,‘Come Back to Colour’ with our fun and family-friendly drawing workshops.
Join illustrator Si Smith and Artist educator Sonia Moran for Sunny Bank’s inaugural Big Draw children’s event!
We’ll have a stack of drawing tools and materials for you to try out, and these workshops will be accessible to everyone – age is no barrier, and whether you’re a budding Beryl Cook, a possible Picasso, or virtually Van Gogh you’re all welcome to come and have a draw with us.
(And of course, when you’re done drawing, you can always hang around for a look round our ‘Lullabies in Lockdown’ exhibition. It’s really great…)

Your teachers
Si Smith is a Leicester-born illustrator and artist who has lived and worked in Leeds since 2004.
He makes prints and creates comics; curates and teaches; and his practice is built upon a strong foundation of observational drawing.
Si is currently working on a 200-page graphic novel for a big American publisher.

Sonia Moran is a Manchester born artist. She loves making thing with fabric and running workshops with communities.

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.
If we need to cancel the course for any reason your ticket will be fully refunded.
