Screen Printing with Kathryn Fox

The screen printing process allows you to create strongly defined areas of even colour in a way that no other process does. At its most basic, it can be done reasonably quickly and with minimal equipment and once you’ve got to grips with the basics you can get creative with more experimental approaches to the process.
In this session, you will learn the basic process of screen printing using hand cut paper stencils from design through to printing. You will then develop your design, creating multiple colour layers and colour mixes to produce a number of prints on paper to take away with you.
No prior experience of screen printing is necessary. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners wanting to try something new or for anyone wanting a quick refresher.
All materials and the use of equipment you will need are included in the price.
Just bring an apron!
ABOUT KATHRYN FOX
Kathryn Fox is a UK artist and printmaker based in Wharfedale. She has exhibited her work locally, nationally and internationally and her screen prints can currently be viewed at Sunny Bank Mills Gallery’s ‘Source’ exhibition. She is an experienced leader of print workshops and a trained teacher of Art and Design.

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.
