Fashion Exhibition with Leeds Arts University

DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THE FASHION SHOW WILL NOT BE RUNNING. HOWEVER THERE WILL BE A STATIC DISPLAY OF TAILORED JACKETS IN THE OLD WOOLLEN MADE BY THE STUDENTS WHICH WERE TO FEATURE IN THE FASHION SHOW FOR YOU TO HAVE A LOOK AT

featuring the work of Leeds Arts University’s 2nd year Fashion Design students.

“Our students learn and develop tailoring skills in their second year of undergraduate study at Leeds Arts University. The Fashion Design course has established links with local industry and tailors, in particular worsted wool suppliers Alfred Brown, who provide valuable sponsorship in the form of fine tailoring fabrics that our students are able to use in their designs. This catwalk show will highlight designs from our current second-year degree students who recently completed our ‘Cut & Imagine’ module, designed to hone their skills in outerwear design and advanced garment construction.”

Free entry, open to any age. The event will kick off at 2pm in the Old Woollen.

About the venue

Sunny Bank Mills is an inspirational cultural destination in the heart of the local community of Farsley, Leeds. Founded in 1829, these glorious Mills are being regenerated by the sixth generation of the family owners, creating a wonderful blend of work, leisure and culture.

The Old Woollen is an accessible events space, with flat access at the front and rear exits.
