Laney Birkhead is a painter, printmaker and tutor; she has been a regular exhibitor since Impressions in 2015, both individually and as a member of Printmakers Circle.
In 2016 Laney led the Swarm project – exhibiting a massive installation of over 50,000 hand printed bees, to raise awareness about the decline of bees in Britain. Swarm was created over 18 months by over 1000 people around Yorkshire including many residents of Farsley!
