Another Guard Book was discovered today and although it looked very similar to the others it is always worthwhile opening the pages carefully to see what has been stored inside.  This one was unusual in that it contains silks and patterns from France vivid and bright designs.  These seem to be in complete contrast to the cloth produced in Sunny Bank Mills.  Perhaps it was used for inspiration by designers in the Mill.
