New Finds at Sunny Bank Mills

Just uncovered this impressive sized wooden crate on the site here at Sunny Bank Mills.  It contains the Sunny Bank Mills cricket teams’ cricket kit. It was found in the sprinkler pressure tank room but it is in fact part of what is the Old Engine Room.  The sprinkler systems were installed in the 1950s so perhaps the crate and content are from then?

Most Mills had sports teams through the years so if anyone has any information about the box and content we would love to know. This list was I presume the batting order, do any of the names look formiliar to you?
