Alice Socal is an Italian Illustrator, comic-drawer and GIFs creator. She published her first comic book in 2011, and has since had comic books published in Italy, Germany and Latvia. Alice has contributed with short comics to various international anthologies and magazines. She currently lives in Berlin with her partner and two kids under 3 and works as a freelance illustrator and comics drawer.
“I started to draw comic strips on Instagram during my first pregnancy. Drawing strips about pregnancy, parenting and struggling with baby and toddler is the best tool I have to elaborate, understand, accept and love the life I’m living (right now with two children under 3). The pandemic started as I was a parent since 6 months, in the strip I send you can read one of the struggle I had sending my kid to the kindergarten.”
