360 Photography Workshop

Come and join the Sunny Bank Mills Archive team for a fun-packed afternoon learning how to turn an object into an interactive 360 degree online image, and explore how we view real objects versus digital!
Our “Weaving The Web” project was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and has used 3D technology to bring the Archive to life online. Come and find out how we did it and have a go yourself.
If that all sounds a bit scary, don’t be put off by the technology stuff – it’s an interactive fun packed guided session using mobile phones and cameras (all provided) taking you through the process of creating an online 3D image. Bring your own object and see what you can produce!

Suitable for ages 10+. Some dexterity is needed for this workshop.

The venue of the workshop (the Bobbin Room) has flat access into the building, and a short ramp in one area. The building also has accessible toilet facilities.
