ONLINE Creative Writing with Poet Matt Abbott

31st March 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Through a mixture of writing prompts and archive materials, you’re invited to respond to local heritage and its hidden stories! You might have a family connection to the textile mills of yesteryear. Or you might want to explore the other hidden stories of LS28 – from the Pudsey Pudding to Aston Martin.

These relaxed sessions are open to grown-up writers of all abilities. There’ll be opportunities to share your work as part of a wider project, but absolutely no obligation or expectation! Some exercises may be loosely poetry-led, but all forms of writing will be encouraged.

These workshops are being produced in partnership between Sunny Bank Mills and LEEDS 2023.

31st March 6:30-8:00pm via the Zoom link.
