Heritage Workshops

The Archive can offer specific curriculum – based workshops for Primary schools focused on the Industrial Revolution and World War 1 with additional workbooks to aid visits.  The workshops are led by the Heritage Director and additional experienced educators giving the students the space to explore and experience the collection and stories relating to the subject areas.

We are open to exploring any other subject areas and are happy to create bespoke workshops for any student groups and needs.

The Archive also offers guided tours to learn and investigate the collection, heritage and stories of the textile mill.  This can be focused on specific areas of interest or give a general overview of life in the mill.  The Archive collection is vast and varied and every subject area can be found within the space to inspire and create connections.
