After 15 years of sterling service at Sunny Bank Mills, Michael our site manager, will take well-earned retirement on Christmas Eve 2020.
Everybody at the mill will be familiar with Michael, who is most commonly found out on the estate keeping an eye on things, in absolutely any weather. 
On a daily basis, he has quietly and effectively dealt with many unseen maintenance problems in the mill!
Michael joined us in 2005, just 3 years before we closed the textile manufacturing business, and he has been with William and John through the very difficult times and the good.
He has been an integral part of the transformation of the mill.
We are indebted to him for his work for all of us over the years, and we wish him all the very best for his retirement.
