Last week we had a fun filled and busy day in the Archive with Year 4 from Spring Bank Primary School, Farsley. They enjoyed a talk about what happened at the Mill, a tour around the Mill site investigating dark corners and large spaces. Then in the Archive the children took part in a variety of activities which included design, creating their own weave, investigating the objects in the collection and having a go on the many types of scales that would have been used in the various departments at the Mill. Our thanks to our brilliant volunteer team who helped us through the day and our thanks to the wonderful enthusiastic pupils and staff of Spring Bank Primary, we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.
