We are pleased to announce planning permission has now been granted for our ” Masterplan” here at Sunny Bank Mills. This maps out the future regeneration of the site; formalising our vision of converting an old textile mill into a high quality mixed use place for business, leisure and living. It includes change of use for the existing buildings that we will refurbish (125000sqft), demolition of 65000sqft of uneconomic buildings to create more open space and parking. And finally creation of 65000sqft of new, mixed use buildings. The emphasis is on employment, but we have also an element of residential conversion within the mill buidings.
